25 Christmas Activity Ideas

Here's some ideas for Christmas-themed activities that could be made in 2DIY:

1. Sorting Winter/Summer clothes out into two groups.
2. Making music by dragging different sleigh bell sounds into an order. 
3. Decorate a Christmas tree by dragging decorations onto it. 
4. Jigsaw puzzle of a nativity scene. 
5. Quiz with questions on about the song "12 Days of Christmas" (e.g. How many pipers were piping?)
6. Build Frosty the Snowman by dragging snowballs up onto the screen and enlarging them using the arrow keys on the keyboard. 
7. Pairs game with Christmassy objects. 
8. Cloze procedure about the purpose of the Advent Wreath.
9. Slider puzzle of a Christingle. 
10. A skater collecting presents on an ice rink in a journey activity. 
11. Rudolph pulling a sleigh (sleigh is attracted to the moving Rudolph) who is trying to collect presents in the night sky. 
12. Cloze procedure(s) of carol lyrics 
13. Quiz all about Victorian Christmas traditions.
14. Label a Christmas dinner (pudding, mince pies, cranberry sauce etc.) 
15. Quiz on funny Christmas 'trivia' (e.g. In which continent is Christmas island?) 
16. Help the snowman fly in the sky and collect snow flakes/balls. 
17. Placing activity - drag different wires up into the correct order/place to help light up the tree (similar to a 'connect the pipes' game) 
18. Platform game where an elf needs to collect different toys from Santa's workshop. 
19. Sequencing the nativity story. 
20. Spot the difference - 2 pictures side-by-side with subtle differences, player drags shapes onto the the 'differences' which increase the points. 
21. Sorting snowmen into groups depending on number of coal buttons/scalf colour etc. 
22. Use the arrow keys to help the spoon collect as many Christmas puddings as it can. Find the silver coin to get extra points.
23. Help Scrooge reach Tiny Tim whilst avoiding the ghosts of Christmas.
24. Sorting toys into two groups - poor Victorian toys (e.g. ball and cup)/rich Victorian toys (e.g. made of metal) 
25. Avoid falling snowballs for a minute being thrown across at the player.
