When creating a 2DIY activity, you might not find the image within the clipart that you really want to use. That's not a problem if you have a webcam, because you can use it to help with your images.
Choose an element (or the background) and press the camera icon at the top of the 2DIY screen. A pop up window appears showing the image that the camera is currently seeing (if you have more than one camera connected to your computer, you can choose which camera to use at the bottom of the popup).
Now - just because the camera might be pointing at you, you don't have to use your own face! Why not hold up a drawing that you have made previously, position it so that it fills the screen, and then press the "OK" button. You'll now have your own created image within your activity. Simple - and adds a bit of uniqueness to your activity (In the example below I held up a cover of a QI book)
